Character Animation Department, with a BFA in Character Animation and several short films under his belt. He worked briefly as a traditional animator on the television show "The Simpsons" before coming to ILM to learn CG animation. Charles has worked at ILM for almost five years, with credit on seven feature films including "The Mummy Returns", "Hulk", "Star Wars: Episodes II and III. and "Transformers" He has served as a Directed Study Mentor for the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and has lectured on animation both in the U.S. and abroad.
Victor Navone is an artist and computer animator with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of California in Irvine. He learned computer graphics working as a conceptual designer at Presto Studios, a video game developer in San Diego, California. Victor is a self-taught animator and his early test animation Alien Song went on to achieve massive exposure via the internet. His work caught the attention of Pixar Animation Studios, where he is now employed as a full-time animator. He has worked on such features as "Monsters, Inc.", "Finding Nemo" and "The Incredibles." I started my carreer working on commercials, and that was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Then I caught my big break thanks to Mike Walling, who helped me land a position at Blue Sky Studios as a junior animator on Ice Age: The Meltdown.
I've recently been promoted to Animator, and am currently working on Horton Hears A Who! I was also fortunate enough to be selected as one of the character leads for the generic Whos in Whoville.
Brett has been working with Pixar Animation Studios since "A Bug's Life." He is currently working on Pixar's 2006 movie, "Cars." Brett won The Visual Effects Society Award for Outstanding Character Animation with his fantastic work on "Finding Nemo", for the Dory Whale speaking scenes.
